What is the difference between ceramic plates and titanium plates?
The most important part of a straightener are its plates. Max Pro offers high-quality tools, that’s why the Max Pro straighteners only consists of ceramic or titanium plates. These plates provide the correct heat guidance, just so each hair is supplied with the same amount of heat and protects the hair against the high temperatures of the straightener.

The hair naturally contains positive ions, these are electrical charges that cause the hair cuticles to open. This results in fizzy hair.

Both ceramic and titanium plates of the straighteners are equipped with negative ion technology. The negative ion technology brings the moisture balance back into the hair, which cancels out the positive ions. It also provides an anti-fizz effect. By straightening the hair with one of our straighteners, the hair becomes soft and creates a natural shine.

The Max Pro straighteners consists of 99,9% ceramic or titanium and 0,1% of Tourmaline. Tourmaline is a finely ground rock that is mixed with the ceramic or titanium (explains the name: Ceramic Tourmaline or Titanium Tourmaline) in the plates, to create an even smoother result. Because of its percentage in the plates, Tourmaline is almost not worth mentioning. That’s why we always say it’s made out of 100% ceramic or 100% titanium.

Should I choose for a straightener with ceramic plates or titanium plates?
Ceramic plates are slightly softer, that’s why those straighteners are a bit cheaper than the straighteners with titanium plates. People with fine to normal hair can already achieve a very nice result with ceramic plates (see Max Pro Gloss Straightener).

People with thick, coarse to frizzy hair are better off choosing a titanium hair straightener. Titanium plates are a bit more sturdy, which means that those straighteners are easily capable of smoothing the hair. Since the titanium hair straighteners are suitable for every hair type, professionals mainly use Max Pro’s titanium hair straighteners (See Max Pro Evolution or the STEAM+).

Which curling iron will protect my hair the most?
An average curling iron curls the hair in 20 seconds. As where all Max Pro Twist Curling Irons curl the hair in 3 seconds. This exposes the hair to the heat of the curling iron for a minimum period of time, which prevents damage to the hair.

With the Max Pro Twist Curling Iron you start at the roots, this will make sure the most fragile part of your hair stays protected. And with the temperature switch on the Twist you’re having full control over the heat of your curling iron!

How long does delivery take?
When you’ve placed an order on workdays before 22:00 / 10PM, your order will be shipped the same day. This means you will have your package delivered the next day.

Orders placed on weekends will be delivered on Tuesday.

Which courier service will deliver my package?
All of our orders are shipped to you from the Netherlands by parcel carrier DHL. They ensure a safe and fast delivery of your order. For orders placed outside of the Netherlands, the carrier will automatically transfer to TNT.

How do I return a product when I'm living outside the Netherlands?
It is possible to return products whenever you’re living outside the Netherlands.

However, the costs for sending the product back are for you. Inform at your local postal office about the costs on sending something back to the Netherlands.

Can I return discounted items?
Promotional and discounted products purchased on the Max Pro webshop can be returned or exchanged within 14 days. This is only possible with proof of purchase (receipt) and with the original packaging.

My product has a technical defect, what now?
Register your styling tool (with the original product packaging and proof of purchase) for return on the Shipping & Return Policy page by filling in the form.

You will receive a confirmation email with the next steps for you to be able to return the product.

After purchasing your Max Pro hair stylingtool (straightener or curling iron), you will have 30 days to register your product for a lifetime warranty. This means that we will repair or exchange your product free of charge if it concerns a technical defect.

If you have not registered or it’s not a technical defect, Max Pro offers a repair service for €29.95 or, if necessary, exchang for a new item. Lifetime Warranty

Where can I register my product for the lifetime warranty?
Max Pro offers lifetime warranty for all straighteners and curling irons.

The lifetime warranty is only valid if you register your new product within 30 days of purchase. In case you want to appeal on your warranty, we ask you for a valid proof of purchase/ receipt.

Can I register my product after 30 days?
No, you can not register your product after the 30 days. The date shown on the receipt needs to be the same as the date that you filled in on the warranty form.

I'm getting an error when submitting the lifetime warranty form, what now?
The system does not accept special punctuation marks (for example, an apostrophe). The system will display an error if one of these characters are used in the form. Remove the special punctuation marks from the form and press the “register” button again.
